Google to Present at Philadelphia Business Marketing Association’s Inaugural Educational Event

PHILADELPHIA August 19, 2009 – The Philadelphia Business Marketing Association (BMA) is kicking off its season of professional development events with a presentation by Google at the Downtown Club in Philadelphia on Wednesday, September 30th. Registration starts at 5:30; program begins at 6:45. Matthieu McAulliffe, who leads Google's business-to-business (B2B) sales team in New York, will share the company’s latest insights on B2B buyer behavior including new studies on the C-Suite, small business buyers, and government procurement. As a pioneer in search and online marketing, Google has worked extensively with B2B marketers to make campaigns more effective and measurable.

How should marketers be using new touch points such as social networks, the mobile web, blogs and Twitter? How is search evolving as a marketing platform? What can be learned from top B2B campaigns introduced this year? McAulliffe will answer these questions with actionable tactics for all types of marketers. And reserve plenty of time for audience Q&A as well as networking.

“Mr. McAulliffe is an excellent speaker with years of digital B2B marketing experience,” says Angela Morsa, BMA Philadelphia Chapter Co-President. “Agencies looking for smart strategies for their B2B clients as well as corporate marketers will find this program to be incredibly valuable.”

Space is limited. So register before September 15 to reserve your seat and save 10% -- visit http://www.marketing.org/philadelphia.

The Philadelphia BMA’s next event will take place on Thursday, November 12 and will feature a panel of regional business marketing experts who will discuss how they are successfully using social networking tools in their marketing programs.

For more information on any of these events or to join the Philadelphia BMA, go to www.marketing.org/philadelphia or call 215.635.3016. Also, PBMA can be accessed through LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
